1. What you are buying
When you buy a digital product from ITS DAD LLC, you are buying a license to use it. You are not buying the copyright. I retain ownership of the files, the text, the designs, the prompts, and the underlying systems.
This license is granted when payment clears, is worldwide and perpetual for that version, and is non-exclusive and non-transferable.
2. What you may do
- Use the product for your own business or personal purposes, commercially, with no royalty owed to me.
- Modify, adapt, remix, and rebrand templates, documents, prompts, and systems for use inside your own business.
- Use the outputs you create with a template or prompt library commercially and keep whatever you earn from them.
- Store working copies on your own devices and backups.
- Where a product is explicitly labeled team or organization use, share it internally with employees or contractors of that one organization.
3. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the product, in original or lightly edited form, as a product of your own.
- Publish the files publicly, upload them to file-sharing or course-piracy sites, or post them where they can be downloaded for free.
- Include the product, or a derivative of it, in a paid course, membership, template shop, or bundle that you sell.
- Share your download links, account credentials, or library access with people outside the licensed person or organization.
- Remove or obscure the ITS DAD attribution, license notice, or copyright notice from a file that carries one.
- Use the files as training data for a machine-learning model, or submit them in bulk to an AI service for the purpose of reproducing them.
- Claim authorship of the product itself, or register any part of it as your own intellectual property.
4. Client work
You may use the products while doing paid work for a client — running a template inside their business, adapting a system for their operations, delivering the finished result you produced with it. That is the point of buying a business tool.
You may not hand the source product to the client as a deliverable in its place, and you may not build the same file into a productized service you sell repeatedly. If you want to do that, email me about a redistribution license — the answer is often yes with terms.
5. Prompt libraries and AI assets
Prompts are licensed on the same basis as any other file. You own the output you generate with them, subject to the terms of whichever AI provider you run them through. Prompt text itself may not be republished or resold as a prompt product. See the AI Disclaimer for accuracy and responsibility.
6. Updates and versions
Where a product receives updates, they are delivered to your library at no additional cost unless a page states otherwise. A substantially new edition may be sold separately; if that happens, existing owners are told first and offered a fair upgrade path.
7. Termination of the license
This license ends automatically if you materially breach it or if the product is refunded. On termination you must stop using the product and delete your copies. Work you already produced with it before termination remains yours.
8. Enforcement
I would rather send an email than a lawyer. If I find a product republished or resold, I will ask once for it to come down. If that is ignored, I will use the DMCA process described in the Copyright & DMCA Policy and pursue remedies available under copyright law.
9. No warranty on results
The products are tools. They are provided as-is under the disclaimer in the Terms of Service, and they do not guarantee any business outcome — see the Earnings Disclaimer.
