1. Intellectual property owned by ITS DAD
The ITS DAD name and logo, the site design and copy, product artwork, template and document structures, prompt libraries, course material, and software source code are the property of ITS DAD LLC, protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law.
Your rights as a purchaser are the rights granted in the Digital Product License Agreement — nothing more, and nothing less.
2. Reporting infringement to me (DMCA takedown notice)
If you believe material on itsdad.io infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@itsdad.io with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice." Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL or precise location of the material you want removed.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
3. What happens next
I review notices personally and act on valid ones promptly, normally within a few business days — usually by removing or disabling access to the material and notifying whoever posted it. I am one person, not a moderation department, so I will also just email you if something looks like a misunderstanding.
Knowingly filing a false notice carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please do not use the DMCA to remove criticism.
4. Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address including your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., in South Carolina).
If I receive a valid counter-notice, I may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
5. Reporting piracy of my products
If you find an ITS DAD product being resold or given away without permission, please tell me at support@itsdad.io. A link is enough. I handle it with a takedown request to the host or platform, and I am grateful every time someone does this.
6. Repeat infringers
Accounts belonging to repeat infringers are terminated, in line with the Acceptable Use Policy.
