Privacy Policy

What ITS DAD LLC collects, why, who processes it, and the rights you have over it — including under GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA.

Effective August 6, 2026 · ITS DAD LLC · All policies

1. Who is responsible for your data

ITS DAD LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company operated by Brooks Walker, is the controller of personal information collected through itsdad.io. There is no data-sales business here, no ad network, and no third-party advertising pixels selling your behavior.

Privacy contact: support@itsdad.io.

2. Information you give me

  • Contact and inquiry data — name, email, optional company, and whatever you type into a contact, waitlist, or consulting application form.
  • Account data — email address and authentication details when you create an account to access your library.
  • Purchase data — the products you bought, order and receipt records, and the billing details Stripe passes back to me (name, email, country, last four digits and card brand). I never receive or store your full card number.
  • Email list data — your email address and signup source if you join the Insider list.
  • Support data — the content of emails and messages you send me.

3. Information collected automatically

  • Usage analytics — pages viewed, referring source, approximate region, device type, and interactions such as clicks on key buttons. This is first-party analytics stored in my own database.
  • Referral and affiliate attribution — which link or partner brought you here, so outbound and inbound referral credit works and I know which content is worth writing.
  • Delivery and security logs — download link usage, webhook events, and error logs, kept so I can prove a purchase was delivered and detect abuse.

Cookie and similar-technology detail, including how to refuse them, is in the Cookie Policy.

5. What I do not do

  • I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the products are not directed at children.
  • I do not ask for sensitive personal information — health, biometric, government ID, precise location — and you should not send it.

6. Processors I rely on

Running a one-person software business means using vendors. Each of these processes data only to operate the service it provides:

  • Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing, and refunds.
  • Supabase — application database, authentication, and secure file storage for your purchased downloads.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, delivery, and edge security for the site.
  • Resend — transactional and list email delivery.
  • Google Search Console — aggregated, non-identifying search performance data for this site.
  • AI model providers (Google Gemini via the Lovable AI gateway) — process prompts and content submitted to AI features. Do not paste confidential or personal data into AI tools.

7. International transfers

The site and its vendors are based in the United States, so information you send is processed in the U.S. Where data is transferred out of the UK, EEA, or Switzerland, my processors rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.

8. How long I keep it

  • Order, receipt, and tax records — seven years, because U.S. tax and accounting rules require it.
  • Account and library data — for as long as your account is open, so your purchases remain re-downloadable.
  • Inquiry and support email — up to three years, then deleted.
  • Email list data — until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so I do not email you again by mistake.
  • Analytics events — 24 months in identifiable form, then aggregated.

9. Your rights (GDPR and UK GDPR)

If you are in the UK, EEA, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

Email support@itsdad.io and I will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority, though I would appreciate the chance to fix it first.

10. Your rights (California — CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion or correction, to request a portable copy, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.

ITS DAD LLC has not sold personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you may still submit any of the requests above to support@itsdad.io. I verify requests by confirming control of the email address on the account or order. An authorized agent may submit on your behalf with written permission.

11. Other U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, and port their data, and to appeal a denied request. Use the same email address and I will handle it under whichever law gives you the stronger right.

12. Security

Purchased files live in private storage and are served only through short-lived signed links. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Access to the admin side of the business is limited to me. No system is perfectly secure, but the Security & Responsible Disclosure Policy describes how issues are reported and handled.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy is updated when the business or its vendors change. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced by email to subscribers and account holders.
