1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to any recurring plan or membership sold on itsdad.io, including Overwatch. They sit on top of the Terms of Service and the Refund Policy; where a subscription-specific rule below conflicts with the general Terms, this page controls for subscriptions.
2. Plans and what you get
Each subscription page states the plan tiers, price, billing interval, and what is included at the time you subscribe. A free tier, where offered, is provided as-is with no service commitment and may change or end at any time.
Paid access is personal to you or to the single organization that purchased it. Sharing credentials to give unpaid users access is a breach — see the Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly plans every month, annual plans every year — at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize me, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on that recurring schedule.
Renewal charges are made on or around the same calendar day of each period. Where a month does not contain that day, the charge falls on the last day of that month.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account, or by emailing support. There is no cancellation fee, no phone call, and no retention gauntlet.
Cancelling stops future billing. Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and then ends. Data associated with your subscription may be retained for a reasonable period in case you come back, then deleted.
5. Upgrades, downgrades, and price changes
Upgrading takes effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference for the remainder of the period. Downgrading takes effect at the start of the next period so you keep what you paid for.
If I change the price of a plan you are on, you get at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect. Existing annual terms are never repriced mid-term.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over several days and I email you. Access may be paused while a payment is outstanding. If the payment ultimately fails, the subscription is cancelled rather than sent to collections.
7. Lifetime access
Where a plan is sold as "lifetime," it means a one-time payment for continued access to that product for as long as I operate it, with no recurring charge. It is not a promise that the product exists forever. If a lifetime product is discontinued, I will give notice and provide a final export or downloadable equivalent where technically possible.
Lifetime purchases fall under the 14-day satisfaction guarantee in the Refund Policy.
8. Trials and promotional pricing
If a trial or promotional rate is offered, the page will state its length and what you are charged when it ends. Trials convert to the standard price unless you cancel before the trial ends, and I will email you before that happens.
9. Changes to the service
Software evolves. Features may be added, changed, or removed. I will not remove a core capability that a plan was sold on without notice and, where it materially reduces what you bought, a prorated refund on request.
I run this alone, so I do not offer an uptime service-level guarantee. I do commit to telling you honestly when something is down.
10. Suspension and termination
I may suspend or terminate a subscription for non-payment or for a material breach of the Acceptable Use Policy. Where termination is for cause, no refund is due. Where I terminate for any other reason, you are refunded for the unused portion of the current period.
