What AI Business Playbook actually is
An operating system for an owner who wants useful AI without turning the company into a science project.
You identify expensive friction with the scorecard, decide whether AI is actually appropriate, build repeatable workflows one at a time, install quality controls on every output that can affect money, promises, people, safety, privacy, or public claims, and measure whether the change made the business better.
The rule the playbook enforces: do not automate a mess. Make the work understandable, remove unnecessary steps, automate the repeatable pieces, then add AI only where judgment, classification, drafting, extraction, summarization, or flexible language genuinely helps.
Within the first hour you should have a ranked list of bottlenecks, one workflow selected, a written definition of success, a working prompt or automation specification, and a seven-day test plan.
